Monster Hunter World Iceborne Celebrates 5 Million Units Shipped; Free Item Pack and Event Quests

To celebrate Monster Hunter World Iceborne’s amazing achievement of 5 million units shipped, Capcom have moved up event quests and giving a free item pack.

Hunters you’ll be happy to know Monster Hunter World Iceborne has done extremely well, as Capcom are celebrating their 5 million units shipped milestone which they reached earlier this month.

The latest figures also include the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition which bundles together the base game and the Iceborne expansion. Iceborne first released on Playstation 4 and Xbox One on September 6th, then later joined the PC platform on January 9th.

Free Item Pack

To celebrate they are giving hunters a free item pack which contains 50 Mega Potions, 50 Dust of Life, 10 Whetfish Fin+, 3 King Armor Sphere and 1 Celestial Wyverian Print.

Event Quests

Capcom have also announced they have moved up the Event Quests which are live starting March 27th and will run through to April 9th. The developer shares they are aware many may be looking for something do during this current lockdown situation and have started the Event Quests early.

This includes The Red Dragon, a MR 6 quest where you will face the Mature Form of the Elder Dragon Xeno’jiiva in a special siege quest type. This allows up to 16 players to join. There are also a number of special collaboration events which you can find details for on our Event Quests page.

Recently announced a new monster will be joining this May, the Blazing Black Dragon knowns as Alatreon. Capcom also announced that all platforms will be title synced in terms of content starting in April, meaning PC will now start receiving content at the same time as consoles.

This week was also the arrival of monster variations  Raging Brachydious and Furious Rajang for consoles, with PC gaining them in April.
