In celebration of the 15th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Bethesda Softworks and Zenimax Online have released a new video for The Elder Scrolls Online that shows fan anticipation for the upcoming Morrowind expansion that brings us back to our fond memories of the first and sets up the new DLC.
Set 700 years before the events of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, you’ll help the demi-god Vivec ensure that the Morrowind you remember comes to be. Watch our latest video to find out why Elder Scrolls fans are so excited to rediscover the home of the Dark Elves, and prepare for your return to the island of Vvardenfell with The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind on June 6.
The trailer alternates footage of the new Vvardenfell landmass you’ll be exploring with testimonials from excited pre-order happy players. Because the events of the MMO are so far in the past from the events in TESIII, players can expect a familiar yet considerably different Vvarndenfell to discover. The content also brings with it the new Warden class, as well as a new trial, sets, PvP battlegrounds and more. It constitutes the largest piece of new content the popular MMO will receive to date.
Morrowind is presently in closed beta on the PC public test server and will release in full for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on June 6th. Keep checking back with us for more!
