Oh, the ps4. A system that has sold over seven million units in a relatively short time frame. For all the strong sales figures, however, gamers are constantly complaining about its lack of features. Sure, some will argue that game systems are about the games, and I agree with that, but consoles have become much more versatile devices in the past decade, and I don’t think people are out of line for wanting more features either.

Some have wondered whether their cries have been falling on deaf ears. As much as people try to reassure one another that features are coming, if there’s one thing I’ve learned about gamers, it’s that we’re a glass half empty group. The SHAREfactory feature, which is the main focus of this article, is good news for those who like to stream their gameplay footage. The pre-download feature sounds like an amazing addition to psn, and may be a godsend for people who struggle to download large games.

But, what remains to be seen, is whether mp3 support will be added with update 1.70, and if not, when it will be on its way. Still, this latest update is nothing but good news, so here’s hoping the future will be bright for ps4 updates.
