Sumo Digital, the developer behind the third installment of the LittleBigPlanet series has teamed with Bandai Namco to deliver a series of costume packs for a few months based on series that Bandai Namco own. November was the beginning of these costume pack releases which saw the release of assorted costumes from the Soul Calibur series featuring:
- Cervantes de Leon: the dreaded Spanish pirate.
- Sophitia Alexandra: a valiant Greek warrior.
- Nightmare: a powerful and ruthless creature.
- Ivy: a British femme fatale.
- Taki: the deadly Japanese ninja.
- Voldo: Italian warrior driven by natural instincts.
With December a week or so away, the second pack is quickly approaching which will contain some familiar faces from a faraway place. Yes, indeed, Little Big Planet and the Kingdom of Lothric merge in the form of Dark Souls 3 costumes. Unlike the costume pack of Bloodborne released last year, this pack will contain not one but five costumes. So far we only know of one costume and that is of the peaceful Firekeeper Maiden:
Be prepared Sackboys and Sackgals to come face to face with foes of great power. But, don’t lose your fluff and turn Hoarder! Fear not though, as there will be likely those up for some jolly co-operation during this wonderful crossover.
Update Dec 11th: The remaining costumes have been revealed!
What kind of costumes would you like to see included in the pack? There are 4 as of yet unrevealed, so we can certainly speculate on what makes it in. Solaire? Greirat? Perhaps an adorable Yoel? The excitement and potential cuteness overload is too much to handle. Praise the craft!
