Today, Larian Studios isometric turn-based RPG, Divinity: Original Sin 2  finally launches along with an update video from the developer, that you can watch above.

This new title is a sequel to Divinity: Original Sin, which was met with critical reception and was praised for its beautiful world, exciting combat and level of freedom in its gameplay.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Release Day!

The Kickstarter campaign for Divinity: Original Sin 2 managed to raise over $2 million in funding, allowing Larian Studios to include full voice acting with over a million  words recorded for the game.

Generations after the events of Divinity: Original Sin, the upstart Bishop Alexandar the Innocent has declared Source the sole preserve of the Divine Order. Sourcerers are now criminals, and those suspected of having Source powers are hunted, apprehended, and forcibly purged of their powers — leaving only empty bodies, devoid of emotion or free will, behind.

Divinity: Original Sin II  launches today for PC on Steam and on GOG, while the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will come at a later date.
