I've long referred to and links the damage simulator, which was last updated in patch 1.07b.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=0

Decided to take a shot at trying to dump & import the latest data into it. So far, somewhat successful, where at least I can talk about some data points on scaling factors.
Scaling Factor is the magnitude of benefit you get from raising a stat, the numerical value that stands behind the S,A,B,C,D,E rating

NOTE:
This was gathered on whatever patch was live at the time of April 14th.
+10 Infusion level.

Glossing over Refined, it looks mostly the same, with a few weapons touched here and there, such as: Astoras, Murakumo, Dark Sword, CCS

Glossing over Elemental infusions, there's been a few unexciting adjustments, but we know the update was botched.

Raw, an often go to for many invasion builds, some favorite notables.

Buffed: Raw Lothric Greatsword, Dragonblood Greatsword, Exile Greatsword, Murakumo, Zweihander
Nerfed: Astora Straight Sword, Flamberge
Unchanged: Dragonslayer's Axe

I'm probably not going to put much more time into properly updating it until after the infusion fix patch.
I can see it in your eyes. If you didn't invade, didn't pillage, whatever would you do?

Stats have no bearing on the scaling factor, but the weapon upgrade level does, which this is from +10.

I'm not sure whether the aforementioned DLC greathammer in the top10 is Quakestone or Ledo's.
I didn't yet have an updated lookup table with the dlc weapon names.

I'll try and put in the effort to complete the sheet after the infusion fix patch.

Don't yet have time look at the google doc link, so I apologize if I'm asking something that'd be obvious upon inspection. But what's the scaling formula? Reading that FUGS has a scaling factor of 148.4 means very little without context. Does this translate to 1.484% of the base damage per point of strength?

Ok, here's a partially updated spreadsheet for 1.13.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 5TyrRdWn0/

I believe this is enough to have the scaling factors and AR accurate.
Not sure if it resolves the damage correctly.
Still missing the item ID/name table for DLC equipment, but it should be obvious.

Going to cover some (personally) interesting weapon level ranges

Low Level Range (~SL15-30)

GPR Raw Dragonslayers Axe +2 382 AR
The DSA remains the king of low level light weapons, boasting a high AR, and effectively the highest damage for a light weapon.

PPR Raw Drakeblood Greatsword +2 397 AR
Nothing changes here. Despite the fact that the elemental infusions grant nearly the same AR as a resin'd DBGS, the way the damage split falls, the effective damage is much less than running a magic or lightning resin.

PPR Raw Herald Curved Greatsword +@ 351 AR
This is interesting, as it beats out its competition in the curved greatsword weapon class.

Next I'll look at monostat weapons that tend to do well in the SL 30-50 range

For somewhere around ~SL50 range

At 16 str / 40 dex / 10 int / 10 fth, the edge of dex weapons like Chaos Blade

At +6

Sharp Astora Greatsword 399 AR
Friede's Great Scythe ~426 AR with solid effective split damage
Sharp Flameberge, Claymore, Bastard Sword, Lucerne, Crescent Axe, Red Halberd (330-350 AR)
Hollowslayer 340 AR
Sharp Milkwood Battleaxe 325 AR
Chaos Blade 308 AR
Sharp Falchion 307 AR
Sharp Lothric Sword 300 AR
Sharp Corvian Scythe 300 AR
Frayed Blade 343 AR, but struggles with effective split damage

With 40 Str, there's no surprises.
DSGA roughly at the top depending on lightning resist.
Wolf Knight's Greatsword at ~343 AR with its min dex req
Followed by Heavy infusions of the generic Flamberge, Claymore, Bastard Sword, etc. with roughly the same AR vs. Sharp.

Sharp Falchion/Lothric Sword definitely lend themselves to the old buff & R1 mash.

This +1/+2 High Wall Sunlight Straight Sword Brolaire build might be favorable to the co-operator crowd

https://mugenmonkey.com/darksouls3/179783

Damage is respectable, above Raw Astora SS, but doesn't beat out Raw DSA or DBGS.

If only Sunlight Shield were small shield parry...
