That. Is. Beautiful.
Normality is a banality. Reality is a fallacy. Alter your perception, open your mind, and expand your world...with odd thoughts, eccentric beliefs, and an eldritch imagination.

It's always kind of weird to see when a few individuals in a movement meant to be about equality and fairness end up taking it way too far in the other direction.

I think the German film "Die Welle" or "The Wave" is the first popular film to try and show how these things escalate

Holy hell. I looked it up, and this sounds like a disturbingly dark look on human politics...............adding it to my Netflix.

I already considered Rockstar one of the few companies I actually like. But that reply was perfect.
Good for them.

I bet the commenter's head is still spinning after that reply.

She probably was shocked that SHE was the one being called the bigot. I hope this gets more attention. Companies need to know that it's okay to say no to these kind of people, especially in such an epic manner.

Her head isn't spinning, it's literally shaking from the PTSD Rockstar's response induced.

When did the political climate of the world (well that of the first-world mainly) go insane? Not that this is new to me - a few years before Gamergate was even a thing and I'd ever even seen the term "S J W" (I called them "tumblr activists" until I saw the other term in wider use) I'd see blogspots, tumblrs (what else) and other places where self-righteous blowhards ranted about **** culture and white patriarchy or whatever. Maybe it began with Penny Arcade and the d*ckwolves, at least that's when I first noticed. Now it's become a pandemic. It's sad because at heart my sympathies for a while now have been left-leaning and socialist in many respects. But now almost everyone I find who also leans on that side of the aisle is borderline crazy if not just plain crazy, disgustingly authoritarian, intellectually dishonest and the kind of people who would probably label me a Nazi over a disagreement. I disagree with so-called "anti-SJWs" on many political matters but in terms of general attitude and things like, well, this, among other matters everyone may be familiar with, I'm finding far more agreeable than most of the people who I would, in another time be on good terms with. This place is a good example. I'm glad to be part of a forum that recognizes that the person writing that initial post is an idiot, both paranoid and bigoted at that. Places like NeoGAF or GamerGhazi... just... no. Give me a cyanide capsule if I'm ever forced to spend more than a few minutes at either of those places ever again.

WHAT HAPPENED WITH PEOPLE LIKE SERIOUSLY WHAT THE ****

Edit: S J W when put together is a censored word here, huh, interesting.

How fitting. Makes sense though, I guess. I mean the word is pretty much hate speech right?
