Final Fantasy XV New Update Out Today, Includes Survey On Future DLC Content

Square Enix has released a new update has been released today for Final Fantasy XV on PS4 and Xbox One. The actual content of the update is minor as it fixes a few minor bugs and issues that were annoying users. The bigger news is the inclusion of a survey that lets players voice their opinions on the type of future DLC content they would like to see.

Upon booting up the game and selecting the survey, at the top it says, “Select the content you would most like to see added in future updates. However you can only vote once so choose wisely!” The following options are then listed out:

  • Story content: Ardyn’s Past
  • Story content: Lunafreya’s Activities
  • Story content: Cor’s Activities
  • Story content: the line of Lucis
  • Story content: Ifrit’s Betrayal
  • Story content: The World of Ruin
  • Story content: Noctis’ Disappearance
  • Playable Character: Cor
  • Playable Character: Aranea
  • Playable Character: Iris
  • Playable Character: Lunafreya
  • Playable Character: Gentiana
  • Additional mode: Hard Difficulty
  • Upgrade: improved Armiger Abilities
  • Upgrade: New stat-changing magic

There are a variety of options here from story content to more mechanical features like new characters and gameplay, so it will be interesting to see what comes out of this. The deadline for completing the survey is June 30th so be sure to make your voice heard!

  1. Aw, I was hoping for the Co-op mode I’ve been hearing about. Still, all that sounds quite interesting. I’d love more characters to play as.
