Fans of the Far Cry series waiting for announcement of the next entry in the open world, action/adventure franchise have to wait no longer. Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry 5 will release on February 28th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC as well as support for the PS4 Pro and Scorpio. It will come in Standard, Deluxe and Gold Editions as well as a Season Pass. Check out the launch trailer which sets up the game’s events:

We reviewed Far Cry 4 when it released in 2014 and scored it a 9/10 finding the sprawling open world and tight shooting mechanics well designed and a must have for FPS fans.
