Fallout 4 Free Weekend Starts Tomorrow On Xbox One and PC

Intrepid wastelanders on Xbox One and Steam can experience Fallout 4 for free this weekend, starting tomorrow May 25th until Sunday May 28th. During this time, Xbox Live Gold Members and Steam users will be able to play all of Fallout 4’s base content and try out Mods for free. The PC version starts at 10 AM PST and expires at 1 PM PST and Xbox One starts at 12:01 AM PST and expires at 11:59 PM PST.

Additionally, Steam, PlayStation Store and Xbox Live will offer savings for Fallout 4’s base game and Season Pass, with discounts up to 67% off. Not a bad deal overall if you’re looking to get into some extended gaming over this holiday weekend. We loved Fallout 4 and gave it an 8.7 in our review and also thought highly of some of the DLC, especially Far Harbor and Nuka World. If you’re taking up arms in the Commonwealth, be sure to keep our wiki handy for some incredibly detailed quest walkthroughs and more!

  1. Well a weekend playing Fallout 4, even with mods, is probably enough to see everything the game has to offer. Minus the people who get sucked into settlement building (guilty!), you kinda see everything there is a few hours into the game, then it’s a slog to get through the rest.

Not saying it’s a bad game, but it’s pretty repetitive.

  2. That’s nice, though I don’t get why they don’t do demos. I just played a demo of Torchlight ll, and it works quite well for an action RPG demo. Gives you the first few quests and area to explore, and if you want to continue, you buy the full game.
