Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Remaster ‘Vocations: Strider’

Today, Capcom released another trailer for their upcoming remastered action-RPG: Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen for the PS4 and Xbox One. The previous trailer compared the graphics between the last and current gen consoles.

Pick Your Class in Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen

This time, the video showcases three of the nine vocations or classes available for players to choose; namely the Strider, the Ranger and the Magick Archer.

All three of these vocations utilize bows and daggers as part of their repertoire, with each class having a unique set of abilities and skills on how they’re wielded.

You can check out the demonstration for all three classes below:

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Remaster is due out on current generation consoles in North America and Europe on October 3rd and will retail for $29.99. For Japan though, the game will be out on October 5th.

If you’re in dire need of being the Arisen now, you can nab the PC version readily available on Steam along with a wealth of mods to enjoy.

  1. Fex I’ll take it for sure, i’ll do probably a Magic Archer and my pawn will be a Strider or a Ranger (probably a Strider) so i’ll share my pawn with you with pleasure ^^

  2. Demon’s is available on JP playstation now, because Sony owns the JP rights – for US, Atlus would have to do it. For UK, Namco. Complicated and unlikely, unfortunately.

For Dragon’s Dogma: I didn’t get the PC remaster and like the game very much so I’m looking forward to it. Same with a possible Nier:Gestalt remaster <3

  3. I remember a year ago there were a ton of Capcom games added to PSNow, but Dragon’s Dogma was nowhere to be seen (just like the Demon’s Souls was a no-show for the Namco Bandai games). I wonder if the reason had to do with their plan to sell it directly on PS4 and wanting to avoid undercutting sales on that platform.

  4. I might get it. I mean I got it for free from PS+ on PS3 and it was rather enjoyable though the relationship mechanic or whatever seemed to never work right when you came face to face with the dragon. Though the upgrade doesn’t seem to be that significant so it might not be worth a full price and might wait for a price drop.

  5. I thought about it, but based on the graphics comparison, this looks almost like a straight port with a few filters tossed in. I think I’ll wait for the inevitable price drop.

  6. Who is getting this? I want to do some pawn and gear trading!! Haven’t decided on what to play, probably a sorcerer again but considering a ranged archer type.
