Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Remaster Graphics Comparison Trailer #2!

Capcom released another graphics comparison trailer labeled #2 today of the upcoming remaster of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen for PS4 and Xbox One.

Remastered Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Coming to Current Gen Consoles!

The previous graphics comparisons video stacked the games environment and in-game cut scenes against the previous and current generation of consoles.

In this new graphics comparison trailer #2, the footage compares the visual particle effects of skills and lighting improvements between the PlayStation console generations, which you can discern the differences for yourself below:

The last trailer released by Capcom showed off the Strider, the Ranger and the Magick Archer Vocations, classes who expertly wield bows and dagger.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen Remaster is due out on current generation consoles in North America and Europe on October 3rd and will retail for $29.99. In Japan however, the game will instead launch on October 5th.

If you’re in dire need of being the Arisen now, you can nab the PC version readily available on Steam along with a wealth of mods to enjoy.

  1. I had finished and platinumed the game before dark arisen came out, so I never did bitterblack before. It works out as now I have new content to do on PS4

  2. IT’s less about level and more about gear. You wanna get a dragon weapon for your vocation (by killing the “final” boss as that vocaton) upgrade it to 3 stars, and then kill the offline UR dragon to dragon forge it. If you’re at level 50+ that should let you do ok damage to most things, though knowing when to run will still be important.

    What ??
Fex…..you MUST do Bitterblack Isle….it’s the core of the Game…the Everfall are insignificant compared to Bitterblack….and on the Island you can get all the better gears in the game
Anyway, you can get there even at level 5 but you must have some high level pawn (50 is better) to accompany you…..
Usually i go on the island as soon as i can so i can change my Vocation immediatly (who said Warrior at level 5 ?? :P ) and, with a little luck, i can even get some good stuff very soon

  4. Loved this back on the Xbox 360, my pawn is ludicrous, still undecided on whether to get this version, but i’m sure i will at some point. the graphics were a tad ropey last gen, this looks more how i wanted it to back then. Well worth a play if you missed out last time around.

Ho boy. Have fun with that. The first time is a doozy. Bitterblack Isle does not screw around with low level Arisen.

  6. No, Cas bought it on PC but I don’t like PC gaming when I can avoid it and I knew it was coming to PS4 so I waited. I haven’t done Bitterblack Isle on PS3 either so it has “new content” for me too :D

  7. This one actually was a lot better. I’m so looking forward to this!

I am hopeful Dragon’s Dogma Online will be going international soon too :)
