Dauntless Gameplay Trailer Shows Some Party Based Monster Slaying

Phoenix Labs have released a new trailer for Dauntless, their upcoming monster slaying online RPG. The trailer gives us a look at some of the gameplay we can expect. Watch it below:

The gameplay shows a party of slayers taking down different types of the game’s signature monsters called behemoths. The party uses a variety of weapons to dispatch an owl-like Shrike first and then takes out a Pangar which conjures up images of the ravenous crystal lizards in Dark Souls 3. The trailer finishes with a look at another called a Drask.

The game is looking like a lot of fun for a party of 4 and has a definite Monster Hunter vibe going for it. A beta is coming in the fall and players can sign up for it on the Dauntless website. The game is set to release on PC sometime in 2017. Keep checking back with us for more updates!
