Bethesda Releases New Skyrim Special Edition Gameplay Trailer

Bethesda has revealed it’s second gameplay trailer for Skyrim Special Edition, which releases October 28th on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Check it out above.

The trailer goes through some of the game’s big moments and shows the remastered environments and creatures in action including the game’s signature dragons.

Earlier in the week, Bethesdsa released the launch times for players on all platforms and 2 weeks ago released the system requirements for the game.

For many of us, Skyrim is trodden ground but it’s certainly hard not to be enticed by the prospect of playing this on current gen consoles. Thoughts on how its looking? Let us know in the comments!

There are tons of lighting mods, but none of them are the same/better than the lighting changes Bethesda made. That lighting is why Fallout 4 is so CPU intensive.

there are a ton of lighting mods. i doubt they will be making the changes you are looking for I.e. more traditional rpg stuff.

  3. I’d read somewhere that they’ve still kept it at 30fps for consoles….is that true?
Coz that’s bloody annoying if that’s the case 😐

  4. Yeah there is. The lighting.

It doesn’t need more content, it just needs the content that’s in it to suck less and/or be better integrated. For example, the game is basically impossible if you turn off the compass/quest markers because you were not given in game directions on how to get anywhere, so in game directions (even just written down on a note for you or something) would be a *massive* improvement.

  5. there is nothing they could do that the modders haven’t already done and surpassed. skyrim needs more content, not a better paint job.

    also 420th post.
